Health Insurance ***** in the USA
June 8th, 2009 | by Rick |theresident asked:
It should totally cover third-leg attachments and heightening surgery. Note: this video is not made to support socialism, though some of the passersby might suggest it as a solution. K?

Because I don’t ever go to the doctor… I don’t take prescription medications - or even Tylenol, really - I don’t have a PCP; why should money be taken out of MY paycheck to cover the detox night of a drug addict in a hospital? ..Or for some fatass to get his heart checked in the ER every month because he’s 400 lbs and smokes?? The healthcare system is used equally by everyone so why should everyone pay equal amounts for govt run healthcare?! what lazy idiots you are

Americans have the shortest wait times for medical treatment out of any country. How does that suck, because we get treatment for cancer right away while you have to wait 6 months for it?

..guidelines for health care coverage, ESPECIALLY if you have children under 18. I was out of work for 8 months two yrs back, and my state picked up mine, and my son’s health expenses. Yes, you are 100% right. There is no reason whatsoever that America cannot have better health coverage then we have, or don’t have, now. But we’re still one of the best countries in the world to live in…not morally speaking though, or even financially speaking nowadays…but you get my point. Thank you,

Also, do people realize that other countries PAY HIGHER TAXES!! They DO NOT get “FREE” health care!! And even then, our health coverage, desicions, doctors we see, etc., are better and more choices. It’s not all that it seems in Canada or Britian. They have a *%$#@! waiting list!!! I knew a guy who needed a hip replacement, and had to wait a year! You tell me that that’s right? In America you get it done the same afternoon. Stop listening to the tv, man. Also each state has their own income…

Moore’s movie is indeed, biased, but that’s a liberal for you. Glad you were able to see through his …propaganda. He doesn’t explain to the viewers that those( well, most) patients put out of a hospital
is because their junkies or winos. America DOES have “free” health care. NO emergency room can turn you away. There!! However, they will treat you different, and bill you weekly, and demand proof of identity, residence probably before they touch you.

as for what i feel what should be covered under health care in general: immediate emergency procedures, elective procedures to prevent future complications and general health concerns. i do not feel that anything that is 100% elective procedures such as cosmetic surgery, for the sole fact of looking better not even if it is for the psychological health of the patient, i feel better use of the money is to teach them how to cope with themselves as who they are. i left a lot out ran out of letters.

I don’t get this video? I can’t classify it as communist propaganda, but I can’t disagree with the fact that health care in America *****.

this is because health insurance companies are so fucking greedy and try to **** you over, even with reg, make no mistake, they have and will continue to let Americans die to save money-its become there job! I have health and dental, but that doesnt make it okay that if I get laid off-I’m fucked…If I get in an acident or fall-I’d be looking at more money than I make over years, and I would receive the minimum amount of care they could get away with…Its not right to let people die for$PERIOD

If you love your country, love the people that made and make this country what it is. Profit has become more important than fellow American’s lives. Everyone should have the same healthcare paid by our government that taxes us plenty to afford it. If that means the rich don’t get a huge tax cut, THATS LIFE…GREED has made health costs what they are, they got you by the balls, so they **** you for all you have and all your gonna have-its disgusting and sinful. Universal health care makes sense!

Why should we subsidize ANYONE who’s not working (except for those who need workers comp because they got injured but wanna work otherwise)? I’m a libertarian. I’m against big gov’t and big spending, esp. using MY or anyone’s tax dollars without our consent for redistribution. It’s ridiculous and unconstitutional. Federal tax revenues must only go to constitutional federal programs, NOT individuals through entitlements or stupid-ass earmarks or other bullshit.

It’s not worth it at all. Higher taxes for crappier services that the market could provide much more efficiently?? No, thanks. I think I’ll choose freedom instead.
And **** SS. It should become private accounts so people don’t have to pay for the retirement of old folks, and you can let your OWN payroll tax money accrue and grow over time. It will be a much bigger payoff than monthly SS checks from the gov’t. It just makes sense. SS gives people less incentive to save for retirement.

A person buying health insurance shouldn’t have to purchase some costly plan that covers every fucking treatment available. Most people won’t even use nearly all those treatments or need them. It’s just asinine. Let me get insurance for what I need, and then I can upgrade later if necessary.

But NOOO. The Democrats and welfare statists think insurance co’s should have to cover every little treatment and surgery, right down to the most frivolous. This only drives up costs. Rather than let US, the consumers, shop around and pick the best healthcare plans based on what KIND of coverage we need, the gov’t has decided to TELL US what we need.
You may think the nanny state is the savior of mankind, but I don’t care for the gov’t limiting my options.

You must be fucking high. This country has the best treatment system in the world! yes, there are some people who can’t afford healthcare, but that’s life. We CAN get more people insured without nationalizing the entire system or expanding big gov’t.
One of the major reasons healthcare costs so much is because it’s TOO DAMN regulated in this country! States and feds keep piling on rule after rule and red tape galore. Insurance co’s could offer cheaper plans if they could cover less.

When you have a profit driven system people die for no other reason than greed, remember this 20% of alot is alot.

Yes…and that’s why France went from number 2-ish in the world to the teens in medical innovation. You’re real smart. Never said our plan isn’t without fault, but the care here is better, cheaper (if you think it’s free in other countries then you shouldn’t be allowed to vote), and delivered with greater speed. If you think it’s so bad, then give some examples please. When you can get full coverage for less than $100/month you’re not selling me on your uneducated remarks.
